THE EPISTLE OF JAMES - 4 weeks
This epistle is quite different than all the other epistles. It covers the whole spectrum of Christian ethics concerning our walk with Jesus Christ on a daily basis. Trials and tribulation will come (which can also mean mental anguish). Our faith will be tested, our morals will be tested, our confidence in ourselves will be tested, our speech will be tested, how we judge and treat others is tested. James encourages us to look at ourselves as though we are looking into a mirror and seeing how we are growing in grace and coping with the intangibles of physical and spiritual life as Christians. James is an eye opener into the truths about our walk before God. It reminds one of the book of Proverbs in the Old Testament. James shows us how to live the life of the over comer and be victorious in our service for Christ.
